Transition to the 2026 editions

ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026 and ISO 14001:2026 on 15 April 2026. Organisations certified to ISO 9001:2015 must move to the new edition by 30 September 2029.

ISO consulting - in brief

Since 2001, the consulting work of Baltov Consult has focused on building and implementing management systems to international standards. We have helped more than 2000 companies build a system and pass certification successfully.

Our approach is based on solutions to the specific problems of each client - the system is built around the company’s real processes, not the other way round. We ourselves work to our own integrated system covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 27001.

When consulting helps

Consulting is useful when:

  • You are implementing a standard for the first time
  • A client or a tender requires a certificate

What we need from you

The most important thing is the commitment of top management: the standards require management to set the policy and objectives and to be accountable for the results of the system. You also need a responsible person in your team to coordinate the work with us.

We ask your employees to share how they actually work - so that the documents describe your real processes, not invented rules that nobody follows.

Consultant or certification body?

The consultant builds the system, while the certificate is issued by an independent certification body after an audit. Under ISO/IEC 17021-1, a certification body may not provide consulting to the organisations it certifies - this safeguards the impartiality of the audit.

That is why choosing a consultant and choosing a certification body are two separate decisions. We prepare you for the audit; you choose the body.

How long does it take to implement an ISO standard?

It depends on the standard, the size of the company and how ready its processes are. You will get the exact timeline in the plan after the initial analysis.

Price

How much does consulting cost?

The price depends on the standard, the number of employees and the number of sites. After the free initial assessment you will receive an offer with a price and timeline.

Certificate

Do you issue the certificate?

No. The certificate is issued by an independent certification body after an audit. We build the system and prepare you for the audit.

Can we implement several standards at once?

Is it needed

Do we need a consultant to get certified?

It is not mandatory, but it saves time and reduces the risk of nonconformities at the certification audit.
